Hey Guys Im finleyw1, you might remember me from two years ago on the wiki so if you do flash me a comment. so I tried out your pre alpha and I have some minor suggestions, for instance on the build testing the mission script I kept getting stuck the pathway and hill and have to jump out of it. another is that you should connect your test builds together and you could call it pre alpha 2 or alpha testing. maybe you could update some of them also like using the particles on the mission script to follow where you need to go and have an updated mission log with maybe a chunk of the game to look at in the mission. you could also put a new build or something separating the combat script and making maybe a PvE arena test to test it with an updat…

LEGO Nexus Adventures is today 2 years old (official) and even longer if you also count the LU2 project, which was the start from LNA.
I want to thank all the people who ever worked on LNA for the great time we had and all the stuff we got so far. It's really awesome to build out a dream like this. At the start we really had zero experience in game-making, and look where we are today. Thank you for everything guys! :D

Hey guys,
I was browsing on the old LU website (via Wayback Machine) and I found the Nexus HQ. I tried to browse on it , but unfortunatly, as I expected, the database didn't work anymore.
At that moment I got a idea. Why not rebuild a costum Nexus HQ?
So, for now, I am working on Nexus HQ 2.0. Its made with HTML, CSS and I am working on the MySQL database. It will be able for visitors to add data about their minifigure in LU (ingame name, level, world, money) and to add/edit the existing data ( like information about LU). Unity Networking Starter Project
Since you guys were having so much trouble with getting some basic networking together, I wrote a networking manager script that uses Unity Networking and allows you to get players into a scene together and create NAT servers. I also included my modified FPC from Unity's standard assets that will work with the networking. In addition, there is a custom movement serialization script that will help you get started synchronizing player states. Just make sure to replace the transform with that MonoBehavior on your Network ID component. You can download it from here . New Ideas for RCU and Team Summit
So I am back. I don't want to just leave stuff I helped create go to waste, and with more people, we can make the gears go running again. This place needs as much help as it can get.
I was thinking to add more depth into story plot, Team Summit and the Recon Contamination Unit could have a rivalry, seeing who could boast the better weapons, gear, and all around better group. This could create a whole set of missions that will have interesting outcomes. We just need a more detailed plot than this. So, with your help, this could be a good idea for Nexus Adventures.

LU Minifigures
So, with my abounding amounts of spare time (*sarcasm*), I have taken on the chance to 3D print some LU minifigures. Just acquired my own 3D printer and enough plastic to at least get started, and I've ordered all the Minifigs I need for Assembly Engineer and Summoner as well as the Venture Daredevil off of Bricklink (love that site so much!). So, would anyone be interested? I'd imagine it's not all that legal to sell them though, otherwise I would love to open up a shop for them.

Meet Nix Frost, the half minifig half malstrom man.
Nix frost is a part of the Creator faction (A.K.A Assembly). He has been corrupted by the malstrom but not all the way. Sometimes he can controll himself; although, sometimes he goes berserk, screaming out in rage terrifying a veteran of any of the forces.

I just read over LEGO's Fair Play policy, and I want to give you a little summary real quick.
- You cannot use the LEGO Logo
- You cannot use the LEGO name without giving a clear disclaimer that this is not an official LEGO game.
- You cannot register trademarks using the LEGO logo, name, or concepts.
- You cannot use official LEGO assets like game files, visuals, etc.
- You can use LEGO Universe concepts, names, and designs.
- You can use any concept from any LEGO theme ever, even the name of the theme (Such as LEGO Creator).
- You can mention LEGO Universe, or even make a clone game! (That is, if you do it all yourself and don't use any of LEGO's assets).
- You can use your imagination!
- You can copy logos (like the Nexus Force logo) (Just don't use the original)…
Idea for a New Department.
Good Morning,
I would recommend the NA Team to create a Treasure Department, closing the Legality Department and who works this way: It does the documents(Terms of Use, End-User Agreement, Legal Terms, NA Rules, a document to LEGO agree before final version, and help guides.) and be the one who talks with LEGO and makes sure that everything is right, outside and inside the game (Like a CPO). This would also transfer all the legality department to there, making a more organized work. This would also need 5 people, like this: 3 Writers (Need to write very fast, be formal and know much about the game and the legality terms of LEGO. Can't get bored fastly! Please, no rookies here! LNA's Annual, Monthly Building Challenge
Thats right folks you heard it here and you heard it right, this is the annual building challenge for LNA with more to follow. Now whats this about you may ask? And how does it work?
Very simiple, i put on this blog what LNA needs a LDD of. Then you the fans and previous members of LNA post your ideas with a link to a download. Now here are the rules and how this is going to work in more detail.
1. You can enter one and only one entry.
2. Your entry will be looked into to make sure it is your design and only your design.
3. Comment with what abilites your model has along with a pic and a link to the LDD.
4. NO! fighting, yelling, swearing etc.. Please keep this blog and the wiki clean.

Will LEGO Nexus Adventure live on?
So I've been hearing that LEGO Nexus Adventures is officially dead. Is that true? Do we really even need to be believing those who say it's dead? If you say yes, then, you are WRONG! I've heard that LEGO Nexus Adventures MIGHT live on, in honor of LEGO Universe, which has fallen to the ground since Febuary 1st, 2012. It's been more than a YEAR since LEGO Universe was shut down. The reason LEGO Universe shut down is because of the lack of new players since the Free-To-Play zone opened up in LU. So uh, I know LNA is dead, and everything is dead. Okay, LNA is dead and no longer progressing, I know that. But look what it has brought us: Friends, More friends, Good memories and a band of buddies that remians unbreakable (you know, if we get that MC server back up.. :P)
But that dosen't mean we should forget this all and act like none of this ever happened. LNA had been a big part of my life for a long time, even when I left those two times. I haven't forgot it, nor should anyone.
Even if we've been outlasted by other projects, or whatever, LNA is far, FAR from truely being over with. Let's keep LNA alive, even if we'll never enter the world we created.

Lego Galaxy and Balance of Power. Both great games, great potential. I would play both of them, but thats not the point. The point is that each game has its weak spots.
Lego Galaxy:I work as the Faction Kit LDDer there (Not that big of a job, to be honest...) and an advisor. For the month i've been on LG, I am seeing one recurring pattern:We keep having inactive people all the time, not doing much. I wont list these people, but their in decent numbers. We also only have one coder, Bin. (Though alone he does a great job). And while were changing the game entirely, its still LU-like.

The Final Solution
Many projects, particuarly Lego Travellers, Lego Galaxy, and Balance of Power, have attempted to work together. These attempts have failed. Though they would work extremely well together, these fan made games are too busy working alone. In my personal opinion, there is one answer to this problem, as the projects by themselves are weak. Though perhaps one or two might succeed, they will never reach their full potential. It is rather depressing. I have an answer for this issue, though many will not like it in the least. Merge these three projects, or at least LG and BoP.
Merging the projects would allow for greater collaboration, and a great game to be completed. BoP has quite a few good coders. LG has quite a few good modellers. In …

My last blog analyzed the problems with new projects, this will analyze the problems with the existing ones. Nearly all the fan made game projects have a problem, whether it be big... Or small. I will focus upon the so-called LNA offspring a bit more than the others, say Project BUILD.
Project BUILD: I will give Project BUILD credit where credit is due. They are certainly the farthest along when it comes to making a game, and they are the longest lasting project. Project BUILD is a survivor. The major problems with BUILD are as follows. First, their leadership is flawed, with respect to Machine and Hollis. They are far too restrictive of the members of their team. Next, there is the fact that BUILD is definitely a closed project, no one m…

Ok, here comes a somewhat long blog. Let us use an example of a random guy named Bob. Bob wants power. Bob wants fame. Bob wants LU back. Bob is an unskilled person with no clue how to make a game, and instead of supporting an existing fan made project, Bob chooses to make his own. Bob titles it "Block Universe, Lego Universe Continues..." He essentially chooses to make a rip off of LU, that is infringing on dozens of copyrights. He makes a blog and tries to gather a team of people to make it. The trouble is this. All of the existing teams have already taken the majority of the talented people, so what remains? Unskilled people. Bob, being new to the world of game creation, starts his project, makes a wiki, and begins accepting…
